Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Official’s Statements on West Bank Sovereignty

Riyadh, July 3 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned and denounced statements made by an official from the Israeli occupation authorities calling for the imposition of sovereignty over the West Bank in Palestine, in violation of international legitimacy resolutions, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The Ministry reiterated the Kingdom’s firm rejection of any attempts to expand settlements on Palestinian land and stressed the importance of holding the Israeli authorities accountable to international resolutions.

The statement reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s full support for the Palestinian people in their pursuit of their legitimate rights, in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative. The Kingdom also underscored its consistent position supporting the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
