Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Decision to Occupy Gaza, Urges International Action

Riyadh, August 9, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the decision by the Israeli occupation authorities to occupy the Gaza Strip, rejecting what it described as ongoing crimes of starvation, brutal practices, and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Kingdom said that the inhumane practices and decisions adopted by the Israeli authorities, carried out without deterrence, reaffirm their disregard for the emotional, historical, and legal connection of the Palestinian people to their land, as well as their legitimate rights under international law and humanitarian principles.

The Kingdom warned that the continued failure of the international community and the UN Security Council to halt Israeli attacks and violations undermines the foundations of the international order, threatens regional and global security and peace, and risks grave consequences that could encourage genocide and forced displacement.

Saudi Arabia stressed that these ongoing Israeli actions require the international community to take effective, firm, and deterrent measures to end the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza and to achieve a solution supported by peace-seeking nations — the implementation of the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with relevant UN resolutions.
