Saudi Arabia Braces for Dust-Stirring Winds, Rain, and Hail Across Several Regions

Riyadh, March 7, 2025 – The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted dust-stirring winds, moderate to heavy rain, and possible hail across multiple regions of Saudi Arabia. The affected areas include Al-Baha, Makkah, Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, Al-Jouf, and the Northern Borders, where stormy conditions may lead to reduced visibility and potential disruptions.
Weather Outlook and Warnings
According to the NCM, light to moderate rainfall is also expected in Aseer, Madinah, Hail, and Tabuk, with fog formation likely in parts of these regions. The forecast also warns of snowfall on the highlands of Tabuk, specifically in Alqan, Ad-Dhahr, and Al-Lawz Mountain, as temperatures drop in the area.
Residents and travelers are urged to exercise caution due to the unstable weather, particularly in mountainous and low-lying areas prone to flooding and icy conditions.
