SAL Jeddah GT Race Kicks Off with Thrilling Competition

Jeddah, November 25, 2024 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The SAL Jeddah GT Race began with high energy on Friday at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, delivering an exhilarating first day of motorsport action. The Team Speedcar duo of Benjamin Lariche and Robert Consani clinched victory in the opening race of the GT4 European Series Powered by RAFA Racing Club.

Close behind, Elite Motorsport's Alex Denning and Tom Emson secured second place, while their teammates Josh Rattican and Tom Lebbon rounded out the podium in third.

The event, attended by Minister of Sport and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, continues today with more high-profile races. The 6-hour, 1,000-kilometer Fanatic GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS will kick off at 5 p.m., preceded by the second race of the GT4 European Series at 2:15 p.m.

Organized by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation in collaboration with the Saudi Motorsports Company, and under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport, the two-day event has attracted motorsport enthusiasts from around the world.
