Riyadh, August 17, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Russian falconry farm RUVS marked its debut at the 2025 International Falcon Breeders Auction, organized by the Saudi Falcons Club at its headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh. The event runs until August 25.
RUVS representative Majed Al-Qahtani said the farm’s participation reflects recognition of the auction’s status as the world’s largest gathering of elite falcons. He noted that RUVS is among the oldest falconry farms, with a track record of achievements across the Gulf and Saudi Arabia.
The farm is presenting an initial batch of 16 falcons of varying weights and sizes, with plans to introduce more in the coming days. Al-Qahtani emphasized the farm’s dedication to offering falcons of pure bloodlines and exceptional traits, praising the facilities provided by the Saudi Falcons Club, which he said have helped attract leading falcon farms from around the world.
The 21-day auction features elite falcon breeds from across the globe, serving as the largest event of its kind and a premier annual destination for falconers and breeders. The event highlights the Kingdom’s commitment to preserving falconry heritage, supporting breeding farms, and reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s position as a global hub for falconry.
