Royal Saudi Naval Forces Support Security Operations for Hajj 1446 AH

Jeddah, June 5, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) —The Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) are actively participating in the 1446 AH Hajj season as part of the Ministry of Defense’s comprehensive security plan. Their contribution supports government agencies operating at seaports and enhances efforts to secure the safe entry of pilgrims.

As part of their mission, RSNF units are conducting inspections of suspicious packages at seaports, employing advanced detection technologies and specialized expertise in maritime security to identify potential explosives and other threats.

In addition, a team of RSNF specialized divers is working in coordination with Civil Defense teams to assist with search and rescue operations in the event of flash floods or heavy rainfall across the holy sites.

Represented by the Western Fleet, the RSNF will further support internal security operations at the holy sites through the deployment of infantry units, special forces, drone aviation, naval military police, and other specialized personnel tasked with various auxiliary missions.

Their participation reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of pilgrims and underscores the integrated role of the armed forces in supporting national efforts during Hajj.
