Konya, Türkiye, May 28 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — The Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) has concluded its participation in the Anatolian Phoenix 2025 joint military exercise, hosted at Konya Air Base in the Republic of Türkiye, alongside air forces from several friendly nations.

The exercise focused on combat search and rescue (CSAR) operations, with RSAF personnel engaging in two weeks of intensive drills aimed at enhancing joint operational readiness in realistic, combat-like conditions.

In a statement following the conclusion of the exercise, Commander of the Saudi Air Force Contingent, Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Abdulrahman Al-Mansour, said the RSAF’s participation demonstrated a high level of professionalism and coordination among air, technical, and support crews.

“The training activities and joint mission planning highlighted our air force’s operational strength and technical capabilities. The goals of the exercise—combat readiness, interoperability, and experience sharing—have been successfully achieved,” he stated.

The RSAF deployed two Cougar combat search and rescue helicopters, fully staffed with operational and support crews, as well as six air controllers, to the multinational exercise.

Anatolian Phoenix is one of the region’s most prominent multinational military exercises, designed to foster cooperation, coordination, and exchange of expertise among participating countries in the field of search and rescue, air operations, and tactical planning.
