Riyadh, July 22 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) concluded the second edition of the Real Estate Brokerage Forum 2025 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, with the participation of REGA Chief Executive Officer Eng. Abdullah bin Saud Al-Hammad.
In his opening address, REGA Director-General of Strategic Communication and official spokesperson Taiseer bin Mohammed Al-Mufarrej reviewed the achievements of the Real Estate Brokerage System since its launch on July 18, 2023.
Al-Mufarrej noted that the system introduced a structural transformation in the sector by institutionalizing real-estate brokerage as a licensed and regulated profession, assigning clear responsibilities to practitioners.
According to REGA data, more than SAR1.2 trillion worth of real-estate transactions have been recorded across eight million deals during the system’s first two years. In addition, over 86,000 individuals have been licensed to operate as real-estate brokers.
REGA also reported that 75 digital real-estate platforms are now officially licensed, collectively offering over 685,000 verified listings. Al-Mufarrej said the figures underscore the scale of the Saudi real-estate market and growing investor confidence—both domestic and international.
The forum brought together stakeholders from across the sector to discuss the system’s impact and future developments under Saudi Arabia’s broader Vision 2030 goals.
