Qatar Condemns Burning of Gaza Hospital, Labels Action a War Crime

Doha, Dec. 28 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces' burning of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, calling the act a war crime and a blatant violation of international humanitarian law. The forced evacuation of patients and medical staff from the hospital was also denounced as a dangerous escalation threatening the security and stability of the region.

In a statement issued today by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and reported by Qatar News Agency (QNA), Qatar urged the international community to take immediate action against repeated Israeli attacks on civilian facilities, including hospitals. The Ministry emphasized the need to protect patients, the wounded, and medical personnel still present in Gaza and to hold Israel accountable for its actions.

The statement also reaffirmed Qatar's categorical rejection of any attempts to forcibly displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, underscoring its commitment to the rights of the Palestinian people. Qatar reiterated its firm stance supporting the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The Ministry called for urgent international intervention to halt the ongoing violations and ensure the protection of civilians in the region.
