 His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held a crucial meeting at the winter retreat in AlUla with U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on Monday. The high-profile discussions focused on bolstering bilateral ties and enhancing cooperation for mutual benefit.


During the meeting, the leaders engaged in a comprehensive review of bilateral relations, exploring avenues to strengthen cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States. Emphasis was placed on fostering collaboration to address regional and international challenges, with particular attention given to the situation in Gaza and its environs.

HRH the Crown Prince underscored the critical importance of halting military operations, intensifying humanitarian efforts, and actively working towards creating conducive conditions for restoring stability. Of paramount concern was the commitment to facilitating a peace process that guarantees the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, ensuring a just and lasting peace in the region.

The meeting saw the presence of key figures, including Saudi Ambassador to the U.S. Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdelaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, and Minister of State and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed bin Muhammad Al-Aiban.


The U.S. delegation, led by Ambassador to the Kingdom Michael Ratney, also attended the meeting, highlighting the significance of the discussions between the two nations. The talks encompassed a wide range of regional and international developments, reflecting the shared commitment to achieving security and stability in the global landscape.
