President Putin Receives UAE Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Saif bin Zayed at Conclusion of Official Visit to Russia

Moscow, May 1, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation received His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of the United Arab Emirates, at the conclusion of his official visit to Russia.

During the meeting, Sheikh Saif conveyed the warm greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and extended sincere wishes for continued prosperity and development to President Putin and the people of the Russian Federation.

The talks underscored the strength of the longstanding bilateral relationship between the UAE and Russia and emphasized the importance of ongoing strategic cooperation to promote international peace, security, and global solidarity.

Discussions focused on a number of bilateral initiatives, particularly in the areas of security and law enforcement. The two sides reviewed the outcomes of joint programs, including the launch of the strategic police dialogue and progress in cooperative training programs focused on child protection.

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to expanding collaborative efforts in line with the shared vision of their respective leaderships. The meeting highlighted a mutual interest in reinforcing partnerships that support regional stability and international cooperation.

Also present was Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Russian Federation.
