NEOM TITAN Desert Concludes with Thrilling Victories Amid Stunning Landscapes
Bajdah, November 25 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The NEOM TITAN Desert returned to Bajdah Mountain Village for its third consecutive year, marking a spectacular conclusion to this world-class cycling event. Spain’s Luis León Sánchez and the Netherlands’ Tessa Kortekaas emerged victorious from an intense competition that saw 242 riders from 24 nationalities navigate NEOM’s challenging desert terrain across four grueling stages.
For the first time, the final stage led competitors through NEOM’s Nature Reserve, offering a unique backdrop as cyclists traversed stunning landscapes home to diverse wildlife.
Elite Participation Highlights NEOM’s Growing Global Appeal
Among the participants were 12 professional riders, including three-time World Champion and Tour de France icon Peter Sagan from Slovakia, and Italy’s Daniel Oss, a veteran of 16 Grand Tours. Their presence underscores NEOM’s emergence as a global hub for premier sporting events.
Empowering Saudi Talent on the Global Stage
In partnership with the Saudi Cycling Federation, NEOM enabled 20 Saudi athletes to compete alongside world-class riders. Notable participants included Moroj Adil, a returning competitor, and Liv AlUla Jayco Women’s Continental Team Cyclist, reinforcing NEOM’s commitment to nurturing local talent.
