The newest celebrities to have their own was figures created at Madame Tussauds Dubai are beauty moguls Mona and Huda Kattan. The sisters traveled to see their own replicas for the first time after the sculptures were recently unveiled at the Bluewaters Island attraction.
To make the moment even more memorable, the Kattans were dressed exactly like their Madame Tussaud's counterparts. Huda, the founder and chairwoman of Huda Beauty, wore a stunning floor-grazing nude dress by Kuwaiti couturier Yousef Al Jasmi, and Mona, the force behind Kayali fragrances, wore a striking black jumpsuit by Lebanese-British designer Nadine Merabi and is sculpted holding a bottle of Kayali Invite Only Amber | 23.
It's no surprise that the sister - and entrepreneur - duo had a big say in the creation of their wax doppelgangers. According to Madame Tussauds Dubai, Huda Kattan worked closely with the museum's artists to recreate her signature glam using Huda Beauty products, while her personal hairstylist ensured that her hairstyle was perfectly imitated. Mona also provided feedback on the recreation of her voluminous locks, as well as the same contact lenses she wore for her sittings and a pair of 12cm high black strappy heels.
Huda Kattan stated, 'I am so honored to have my very own was a figure at Madame Tussauds!' 'I consider myself extremely fortunate to be sharing a space with global icons, but more importantly, with my sister Mona'. 'I am grateful to all of the incredible people and talents who made this possible. They are the ones at the wheel'. 'Being given this opportunity was so surreal and incredible,' Mona Kattan added. It was incredible to be a part of the entire process of bringing this to life! I'm really looking forward to seeing my Madame Tussauds wax figure. From start to finish, this was an inspiring and humbling experience, and being able to share it with Huda makes it even more special.
