Ministry of Interior Warns Against Fraudulent Hajj Campaigns and Unlicensed Service Providers

Riyadh, May 29, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Ministry of Interior has issued a strong warning to the public regarding fraudulent Hajj campaigns and unlicensed pilgrim service offices, urging citizens and residents to remain vigilant and avoid falling victim to deceptive advertisements circulating on various websites and social media platforms.
In a statement released on Thursday, the Ministry stressed the importance of adhering strictly to official Hajj regulations and approved channels, which are designed to protect the safety and security of pilgrims and to ensure that all rituals are performed in an orderly and safe manner.
The Ministry called on the public to report any suspected violations or unauthorized campaigns by contacting the emergency number 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 in other regions across the Kingdom.
Authorities reiterated that any individual or entity found to be promoting or engaging in unauthorized Hajj services will be subject to legal accountability, in accordance with the laws governing the Hajj season.
