Makkah, April 8 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Maternity and Children Hospital in Makkah, part of the Makkah Health Cluster, received 20,000 cases and provided medical services to over 200 Umrah performers during the month of Ramadan 1446 AH, according to an official statement.
The hospital delivered a wide range of services including emergency and outpatient care, childbirth deliveries, surgical operations, radiological diagnostics, and comprehensive laboratory services. The latter included blood donations, medical examinations, sampling, and prescription dispensing for patients and visitors.
The facility is equipped with a specialized medical, technical, and administrative team, fully prepared to support pilgrims and visitors to the Grand Mosque, ensuring accessible and efficient healthcare during the holy month.
The hospital’s readiness is part of the wider national health system’s efforts to provide integrated care throughout Makkah during peak pilgrimage seasons.
