RIYADH, May 17 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has approved the awarding of the King Abdulaziz Medal (Third Class) to 200 male and female Saudi citizens in recognition of their organ donation.
The recipients donated a major organ, either as living donors or posthumously in cases of brain death, according to an official announcement.
The medal is granted as a token of national appreciation for their humanitarian contribution, which reflects the values of altruism, solidarity, and social responsibility promoted across the Kingdom.
The recognition aligns with broader health sector initiatives under Saudi Vision 2030, which encourage organ donation as a vital component of life-saving medical care.
