Riyadh, August 7, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – King Khalid International Airport (KKIA), operated by Riyadh Airports, reported record-breaking operational figures for July 2025, marking its highest monthly performance to date.

The airport welcomed 142,538 passengers in a single day, setting a new daily record. Over the course of the month, 3.9 million passengers were served on 26,000 flights, establishing new records for both passenger traffic and flight operations.

The previous single-day record was set on August 1, 2024, with 131,691 passengers. This year’s peak represents an 8% year-on-year increase, underscoring the airport’s continued growth and enhanced operational efficiency.

The performance aligns with KKIA’s strategic role as the primary air gateway to the Saudi capital and supports the objectives of the Kingdom’s aviation strategy under Vision 2030.

Riyadh Airports continues to expand capacity, improve passenger experience, and elevate service standards in line with national goals to position Riyadh as a leading regional and global transport hub.
