Riyadh, June 13 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Iran fired “hundreds of various ballistic missiles” toward Israel on Friday night, describing the barrage as the start of a “crushing response” to Israeli strikes on Iranian territory earlier in the day, Iranian state news agency IRNA reported.

Footage broadcast from Tel Aviv showed several interceptors streaking across the night sky, with at least one projectile appearing to penetrate Israel’s Iron Dome defence before erupting in flames near the city’s high-rise district.

Casualty figures were not immediately available, and Israeli hospitals moved to emergency footing as a precaution, according to Reuters.
