Emir Of Qatar Receives Saudi Minister Of Culture

PARIS, France - The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, welcomed the Saudi Minister of Culture, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, in his office at the Amiri Diwan on Monday. The meeting was held on the occasion of Prince Badr’s visit to Qatar to attend the opening of the Doha International Book Fair.

The two leaders exchanged greetings and discussed the strong fraternal relations between Qatar and Saudi Arabia and the prospects for their development. They also reviewed the cultural cooperation and initiatives between the two countries.

Prince Badr conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to the Emir of Qatar and their wishes of good health and happiness to him and further progress and prosperity to the Qatari people.

The Emir of Qatar entrusted the Saudi Minister of Culture to convey his greetings to King Salman and Prince Mohammed and his wished of good health and wellness to them and further progress and development to the Saudi people.

The Doha International Book Fair is one of the largest cultural events in Qatar and the region. It hosts hundreds of publishers from different countries and showcases a variety of books, activities and programs for all ages and interests.
