Dust Storms and Heavy Thunderstorms Expected Across Southern Saudi Regions

RIYADH, March 26 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — The National Center for Meteorology has forecast dust-stirring winds and moderate to heavy thunderstorms accompanied by hail over parts of Najran, Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. Fog formation is also expected across the highlands in these areas.
Winds over the Red Sea will range from northeasterly to northwesterly in the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to southerly in the south, reaching speeds of 16-36 km/h. Wave heights may vary between half a meter and one and a half meters, with the sea expected to be calm.
In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly winds are expected at speeds of 15-38 km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to two meters, and sea conditions turning calm to choppy.
