Riyadh, July 3 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Dubai Airshow has announced that registration is now open for its 19th edition, which will take place from November 17 to 21 at Dubai World Central. Organisers say the event aims to support transformation in the aviation sector by enhancing engagement, connectivity and innovation.

This edition is expected to provide a key platform for accelerating future technologies and cross-sector collaboration, reflecting the UAE’s vision to keep pace with rapid aviation growth. According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the aviation sector contributes US$92 billion to the UAE’s GDP, equivalent to 18.2 percent, with the Middle East’s commercial aircraft fleet projected to expand at an annual rate of 5.1 percent over the next decade.

Dubai Airshow has maintained its position as one of the world’s largest and most influential industry events, bringing together decision-makers and innovators from around the globe. The show is expected to offer stakeholders opportunities to secure their place at the forefront of aviation and defence innovation.

Major General Dr. Mubarak Saeed bin Ghafan Al Jabri, Executive Director of the Military Committee organising Dubai Airshow, said the event will highlight the UAE’s growing leadership in aviation and defence. “With the industry evolving rapidly, the Ministry of Defence remains committed to advancing innovation and building capabilities for the future,” he said, adding that supporting the next generation of talent remains central to the UAE’s vision.

He also noted that this edition will introduce a new style of networking with a first-of-its-kind runway event at SkyDive Dubai, combining informal gatherings, drone shows, skydiving displays, DJ performances and premium hospitality. The 2025 edition will also include its first night-time programme, giving attendees more time to explore aircraft displays and attend evening receptions under the stars.

Sustainability will be a major focus, as the industry works to adopt more efficient and environmentally friendly solutions. Returning features include VISTA, the start-up hub for aviation and space innovation, the NextGen Leaders programme, and a newly launched Academy to equip emerging talent with skills for the sector.

Other highlights include the Aerospace Executive Club for senior leaders, an AI-powered matchmaking system for networking, and a comprehensive delegation programme co-hosted by the UAE Ministry of Defence, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and the Government of Dubai.

Timothy Hawes, Managing Director of Informa Markets, said the 2025 edition will be the most comprehensive and future-focused to date, designed to strengthen ties across the global aviation and defence community. “Dubai Airshow has always been centred on driving the aviation and defence sectors forward,” he said, adding that this edition will expand efforts to inspire youth and nurture the next generation of industry leaders.

Skyview, the only platform of its kind in the UAE, will again open to the public and is expected to welcome over 15,000 visitors, offering live flying displays, interactive experiences and entertainment over the five days of the show.
