Death Toll in Gaza Rises to 55,637, Majority Women and Children, Palestinian Sources Say

June 19, 2025 | Gaza / West Bank (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The number of Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 55,637, with the majority being women and children, according to Palestinian medical sources.

The same sources reported that 129,880 people have been injured, while many remain trapped under the rubble. Emergency and civil defence teams have been unable to reach several areas due to ongoing hostilities and destruction.

In the occupied West Bank, the Israeli army continued demolishing homes on Thursday in the Jenin refugee camp, located in the northern part of the territory.

Palestinian sources confirmed that bulldozers carried out demolitions in the Al-Damj neighbourhood and the eastern section of the camp.
