His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, graciously received the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mr. Anwar Ibrahim, at the esteemed Royal Court within Al-Yamah Palace in Riyadh This momentous meeting between the two leaders marked the initiation of a warm and promising exchange of diplomatic engagements between their respective nations.

The official reception ceremonies for Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim were conducted with utmost grandeur and respect, underscoring the significance of the visit to both nations. Subsequently, HRH the Crown Prince engaged in formal and constructive discussions with Prime Minister Ibrahim.

During these discussions, His Royal Highness expressed a warm and cordial welcome to Prime Minister Ibrahim, reaffirming the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. In response, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim expressed his sincere delight and gratitude for the gracious reception and the opportunity to meet HRH the Crown Prince.

The agenda of their meeting encompassed an extensive array of subjects, primarily focusing on the review and consolidation of Saudi-Malaysian relations. The leaders explored a spectrum of promising opportunities for cooperation across various domains and examined the potential for development in their bilateral ties. Additionally, they engaged in insightful deliberations concerning regional and international developments, collectively deliberating on pertinent efforts and interests that hold mutual significance.

The distinguished Saudi delegation included notable figures such as Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Energy; Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the State and Member of the Cabinet; Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Sports; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard; and Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense. It also comprised the presence of key figures like Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Minister of Commerce; Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, Minister of Investment; and Faisal bin Fadel Al-Ibrahim, Minister of Economy and Planning.

The Malaysian side was represented by Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry, alongside a distinguished contingent of senior officials.
