Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Receives Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Jeddah

Jeddah, April 23 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi on Tuesday at the Royal Court at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah, where the two leaders held formal talks aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and advancing strategic cooperation.


An official reception ceremony was held upon Modi’s arrival, followed by a discussion session in which the Crown Prince and the Indian Prime Minister reviewed ties between the two countries and explored opportunities for collaboration across a range of fields. They also exchanged views on regional and international developments and ongoing efforts to enhance security and stability.


During the visit, the two sides co-chaired a meeting of the Saudi-Indian Strategic Partnership Council. The council session addressed multiple topics on the bilateral agenda and included the participation of senior ministers and officials from both governments. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Modi signed the official minutes of the session.


Following the council meeting, the Crown Prince held a separate bilateral meeting with the Indian leader to continue consultations on matters of mutual interest.


The Saudi delegation included Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Sport Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of State and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of Commerce and accompanying minister Dr. Majid Al-Kassabi, Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih, Adviser at the Royal Court Mohammed Al-Tuwaijri, Secretary to the Crown Prince Dr. Bandar bin Obaid Al-Rasheed, and Public Investment Fund Governor Yasir Othman Al-Rumayyan.


The Indian side was represented by Minister of External Affairs Dr. S. Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Ambassador of India to the Kingdom Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan, and other senior officials.


The visit reflects the continuing development of strategic ties between Saudi Arabia and India and their shared interest in expanding cooperation across economic, political, and security sectors.
