Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Holds Bilateral Meeting with President of the Philippines Ferdinand

Riyadh, October 22, 2023 - His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, had the pleasure of welcoming President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. of the Philippines to Riyadh today. This significant meeting transpired on the sidelines of the GCC-ASEAN Summit, a gathering of great diplomatic and strategic importance, bringing together members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

The discussions between HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman and President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. primarily revolved around the robust cooperation relations that have developed between Saudi Arabia and the Philippines across various fields. Both leaders explored the promising opportunities for further development and enhancement of these relations in the future.

The high-profile gathering was graced by the presence of eminent officials, including Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy; Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet; Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Sports; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard; and Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. was accompanied by an official delegation from the Philippines.
