Buraidah Dates Carnival Records Sales of Over SAR106 Million in First 15 Days

Buraidah, August 17, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Buraidah Dates Carnival is witnessing strong purchasing activity and increasing demand, driven by the flow of diverse date varieties and the participation of large numbers of shoppers and traders from across the Kingdom and Gulf states.

According to official statistics for the first 15 days of the event, date sales reached SAR106,639,713, with 20,783 vehicles arriving at the carnival. A total of 3,476,235 cartons of dates were recorded, weighing 13,904,940 kilograms, equivalent to nearly 13,905 tons.

Alongside commercial activity, the carnival also features a program of cultural, social, and awareness-raising events, further highlighting the role of dates in Saudi Arabia’s agricultural heritage and economy.
