BREAKING NEWS: Eid al-Fitr to Begin on Sunday, March 30 – Saudi Royal Court

Riyadh, March 29 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Saudi Royal Court announced that Eid al-Fitr will fall on Sunday, March 30, 2025, after the crescent moon was sighted at the Sudair and Tamir observatories.

Sighting committees across the Kingdom began observations at sunset to verify the appearance of the Shawwal crescent.

Earlier this week, the Supreme Court urged anyone who sights the moon—whether with the naked eye or using binoculars—to report their observation to the nearest court and register their testimony.
