Geneva, August 26, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Twenty-five countries have suspended postal services to the United States following the implementation of new tariffs by the US administration, the Universal Postal Union (UPU) said on Tuesday.
The UN agency, based in Switzerland, reported that the member states halted shipments because of uncertainty over a new US customs rule.
The United States announced last month that it would suspend the exemption for small international shipments of goods valued at under $800. The measure will take effect on August 29.
